Delayed Revisions & Reactivation
What happens when a returned article waits too long.
Why this exists
Revision delays can leave old articles hanging between writer and editor. Reactivation gives the platform a clean way to reopen useful work while keeping the active workflow readable.
What you should do
- Open Submissions and find the inactive or returned article.
- Read the editor's revision notes again.
- Decide whether the article is still something you want to continue.
- Request reactivation if the article still fits the platform and you are ready to revise.
- Wait for Manager review before expecting the article to move again.
When to start fresh
- The article no longer reflects what you want to say.
- The topic has changed so much that revision would be confusing.
- The editor feedback points toward a completely different piece.
