How to create a new password when login credentials stop working.

The reset steps

1. Enter the email connected to your Unburden account.
2. Check your email for the reset code.
3. Enter the code on the reset page.
4. Create a new password and confirm it.
5. Return to login and sign in with the new password.

Password rules

The new password must be strong enough and should not be too similar to your email or name. If the form rejects the password, choose something less predictable.

If the code does not arrive

• Confirm that the email address is correct.
• Check spam or promotions folders.
• Wait a short moment before requesting again.
• Ask the responsible platform Manager to confirm the account email if the reset email never arrives.

What password reset does not do

• It does not approve a pending contributor account.
• It does not change your email address.
• It does not bypass email verification.
