Common Issues

A calm first check when something in the platform does not behave as expected.

Start with account state

  • If you are not logged in, private dashboard pages send you to login.
  • If your email is not verified, protected areas send you to Email Verification.
  • If your contributor account is still pending, you will land on Account Under Review instead of the dashboard.
  • If an account is suspended or rejected, the dashboard is not available.

If a dashboard page redirects

Dashboard routes are role-aware. Writers, Editors, and Managers do not share every page. A Writer cannot open Editor Queue, an Editor cannot open Manager analytics, and a visitor cannot open dashboard routes at all.

If an article action is missing

  • Writers can only submit when their account and assignment state allow it.
  • Editors only see review actions for articles in their queue or review scope.
  • Managers see intervention actions only when Article Rhythm has made the delay visible to Manager.
  • Published, scheduled, inactive, or already-moved articles may no longer show the same actions they showed earlier.

Browser console warnings

Local development can show websocket or browser-extension warnings, especially around notifications. If the visible page still loads and dashboard data is correct, the warning may not be the cause of the issue.

What to gather before asking for help

  • Your role: Writer, Editor, or Manager.
  • The page or route where the issue happened.
  • The article title, if the issue is article-related.
  • What you expected to happen and what happened instead.
