How readers share experience feedback after meaningful reading.

What reader feedback is for

Reader feedback helps the team understand how the reading experience is landing. It is separate from reflections: feedback is about the experience of reading, while reflections are about what the article brought up for the reader.

When the prompt appears

• The prompt is controlled locally in the reader's browser with localStorage.
• A meaningful read requires about 30 seconds on an article and roughly 70% scroll depth.
• The prompt appears after two unique meaningful article reads.
• If the reader chooses Remind me Later, the prompt is dismissed for 30 days.
• If the reader submits feedback, the prompt waits 180 days before becoming eligible again.

What the reader can share

• A rating from 1 to 5 is required.
• A message is required.
• Email is optional and uses the placeholder Email, optional.
• If an email is provided, it can be subscribed to the reader feedback newsletter group through the existing MailerLite integration.

Where it goes

Submitted reader feedback goes to the Manager User Feedback dashboard as Reader Experience feedback. It is not published under the article.
