Contributor Terms
Where contributor participation expectations live.
Where the formal terms live
Contributor Terms are available at `/terms-and-conditions`. That page is the formal participation agreement for contributors who write or work inside the Unburden editorial environment.
What the terms cover
- Contributors submit original articles.
- Contributors retain authorship of original writing while granting Unburden permission to publish, archive, edit for tone alignment, and display the work in the library.
- Published articles remain credited to their authors.
- Submitted articles move through editorial alignment before publication.
- Contributors agree not to share unpublished articles, dashboard material, internal workflow structures, or private guide material without permission.
- Dashboard access can be adjusted or removed if participation no longer aligns with platform expectations.
How this connects to onboarding
Contributor registration requires terms acceptance. After email verification, Writers and Editors continue through role doctrine, the Alignment Questionnaire, and WhatsApp onboarding before a Manager can approve the account.
Things to know
- This guide summarizes the terms; it does not replace the formal terms page.
- Writer and Editor doctrine explain the tone and role expectations behind those terms.
- Contributor access is role-based and can be pending, active, suspended, or rejected.
